The latest information from the Pew Research Center shows the following concerns of Americans, in order of importance:

1) economy
2) jobs
3) terrorism
4) social security
5) education
6) Medicare
7) deficit reduction
8) health care
9) helping the poor
10) military

There are 10 more topics -- and global warming is dead last.

That health care ranks number 8 isn't surprising; it's the reason Obama's presidency is failing. But here's a sobering thought: When you consider that his entire presidency has been focused on health care and health care alone, virtually nothing else is getting done. Hello?

Just imagine if Obama hadn't focused on health care at all. Think of all the time that would have been spent on -- dare I say it without being pilloried -- more important matters.
