Being Sick
I've been sick in bed the last few days. Remember when I said my son was home for four days? Yes, well, now it's payback time.My husband loves it when I'm sick. I think it's cause I don't flit about getting into everything. I stay still and he has run of the house.
But this I must know: Where, or where, do husbands go when you send them out for a quick errand? Why does a 5-minute trip become an hour? Why? Why????
I'm a stay-at-home home Mom with 3 (almost 4) kids. On the rare occasions I get to run an errand by myself and say, "I'll be back in 20 minutes," my husband knows better than to expect me back for at least 2 hours.
I really don't know where the time goes - it's like I enter some parallel universe. Maybe that's what happens to your husband. :)
That's funny. No, I'm the complete opposite. In and out. It's only my husband who does that, and I have several friends whose husbands do the same. I thought it was a guy thing, but maybe not.
Course you have an excuse to disappear for hours by yourself.
Because we men never ask for directions. lol
See Ya
Hi Suzanne,
Hope you are feeling better, got a laugh about your husband disappearing act, maybe he thinks that way you'll miss him more. I always enjoy your writing and appreciate your sense of humor I hope you can use more we all have a need to lighten up even when a good part of everyday news is somber.
Thank you very much for your kind comment. My cold is dragging on, but the beauty of it is that I can still write!
I hope that you feel better!
